Li Jia (The Violine)

Cultural sponsoring

For us it is also important to support and to accompany young artists and cultural events. Because we think even the best audio brands in the world are worthless without to what is all about - music. LAB proudly presents one of the best violine players worldwide - Li Jia.

"The assurance and confidence of this young player delievers its own message of musical love and natural potential." - Denby Richards, Music and Musicians.

Li Jia - Career Overview

I was born into a musical family in China and began to study the violin with my father, Liang Cai Li from age of four until his tragic death in a car accident in 1993. Since then, I have received lessons from Madame Shen Guan En and Mr. Maurice Hansson. Now, I am studying with Professor Yfrah Neaman at The GSMD.
In Beijing, at the age of eight, I was discovered by the Netherlands Chamber and the BBC Symphony orchestras. Through help from Holland and Britain, I was awarded a scholarship to the Purcel School in London. I came to England with my parents in 1981 to nurture my musical prospects, but also to receive a wider general education. I gave my first full recital in London when I was eleven, and since then, amidst a busy academic schedule, I have given numerous performances as a soloist with orchestras an in recitals in the UK, Switzerland, Austria, Singapore, Japan, China and etc., as well as appearing on television and radio in England and abroad.
